URBIS ABBEY SON-T 70W,  SELC 849 Photocell.

New Urbis Abbey lanterns had now popular in Ireland since 2000, I think the lanterns suitable in the town area which matched with old grade 2 building on the Square.

THORN ALPHA 8 SON-T 250W,  SELC DUMMY Photocell.

You can see very popular Thorn Alpha 8 with SON-T 250W on the Main Street around of Ireland if with Power overhead but now mostly change new lanterns with heritage now but Thorn Alpha 8 not much continue around of Ireland.

Apartment Estate, Birr

THORN GAMMA BASIQUE SON-T 70W,  No Photocell.

The Post Top Lantern looking lovely and modern design, I think not belongs to ESB or Local Authorise.  I think Apartment lease lands who own the lantern.  I don’t see any much Thorn Gamma Basique around of Ireland, but some still have Gamma 6.  Before when I was young I do remember there are very popular Thorn Gamma 6 with Mercury Vapour lamp MBF 80W and 125W, but now all had gone too replaced to Thorn Beta 2 SOX 55W with new 90 degree bracket for side entry lanterns.

THORN BETA 2 SOX 55W,  SELC DUMMY Photocell.

Beta 2 lanterns very popular around of Ireland and lots of use for County side, before old Mercury vapour 80W I think made from CU Phosco but I will try and find out.
